Lovejoy is an achingly new band, with less than 18 months under their belts since the release of the first EP in March 2021 - but already they have a huge base of deeply loyal fans. So much so that for this - their first 'proper' tour, tickets sold out within seconds.
And the venues are not insignificant, each holds several hundred people and plays host to familiar-name`bands.
The rapid rise of Lovejoy isn't hard to explain. Lead singer Wilbur Soot has a massive following thanks to his streaming success - both in the gaming/storytelling arena (most significantly as part of the Minecraft-based DreamSMP) and as a solo singer-songwriter in his own right.
