Outlander star Graham McTavish has shared snaps from his secret Midlothian wedding ceremony.
The Scottish actor, best known for his role as Dougal MacKenzie in Outlander, tied the knot in stunning nuptials at Borthwick Castle near Edinburgh with his kids watching on. The 62-year-old met author and businesswoman Garance Doréfo a year and a half ago and the pair got engaged last August.
Speaking of the engagement to British Vogue, Graham said: “I couldn’t wait to get engaged, I’m amazed I waited as long as I did before asking her!"

Sharing photos from his glamorous wedding, he wrote on Instagram: "Earlier this year I was lucky enough to marry this wonderful woman @garancedore Yes! We celebrated in Scotland. Yes! In a castle. Yes! With my wonderful children and Yes! With a giant sporran.
"My youngest daughter Hope made the place cards. My dear friends @paulkavanagh64 and @dougyrao made sure everything ran smoothly and as you can see @duncan.lacroix took dancing to new levels!! It was a wonderful, joy filled day surrounded by family and friends."
Graham met his bride - author and founder of the skincare line Doré - Garance on the celebrity dating app Raya, reports the Daily Record.
He added in his delighted social media post: "Thankyou Garance for saying YES!!! #weddings #sporran #ceilidhs #kilts #loving #yes /oui @vogueweddings."
Outlander co-star Duncan Lacroix was also in attendance on the big day, and gushed over the event: "Best wedding ever!! Hoping my dance partner made it out of intensive care."
The couple chose the stunning venue just outside Edinburgh after Graham eyed it up for another celebration. He told British Vogue: “I had already discovered Borthwick before I met Garance as a venue for my 60th birthday.
"Covid put a delay on that for two years, so it felt right that we devote a whole week to not only our wedding but my long-delayed 60th.”
Despite relocating to New Zealand after stints living in Canada and America, Graham was keen to ensure his wedding reflected his Scottish roots and heritage. He wore a kilt and a sentimental ring which was engraved with his initials, as well as those of Garance’s and his children Honor and Hope.
The House of the Dragon star also wore a necklace underneath his shirt which held his mum's wedding ring.
