A multimillionaire co-founder of a national clothing chain has been laid to rest just metres from where he was allegedly fatally stabbed by a teenager at a house party.

Family and friends on Monday gathered at St Agatha's Catholic Church in Brisbane to farewell Greg Josephson, who established Australian fashion retailer Universal Store.
