Amad Diallo made the perfect start to his time on loan at Rangers as he scored with virtually his first touch for his new club.
The Manchester United youngster made the move to the Scottish Champions earlier in the week as he moved north of the border for the remainder of the season.
He was thrown straight into the action as Giovanni van Bronckhorst named him in the starting line-up to take on Ross County on his debut, and he couldn’t have made a better start to his time with the Glasgow giants.
Amad struck just four minutes into his first start for the club, tapping in at the far post from Joe Aribo to send the travelling Rangers supporters wild.
The 19-year-old clearly enamoured himself to his new fans immediately, with the travelling support immediately coming up with a new song in his honour, which was belted out for much of the first half.
And United fans were keeping a close eye on his first outing in Scotland, and were delighted to see him making an instant impact.
Speaking about making his move on loan earlier this week, Amad told Rangers’ website: "I am delighted to join Rangers until the end of the season.
"It is fantastic for me at this stage of my career to have the opportunity to come to such a big club that is challenging on a number of fronts and will give me some excellent opportunities to test myself in many environments.”
