Organisers of Love Saves the Day have released a full list of road closures and timings for this weekend’s event. After months of planning, this year’s festival has arrived and most people will have already made plans for getting there and back.
But if you still haven’t thought about the logistics, or you're not attending but are travelling in the vicinity, then take a look at the list below with all the details on road disruption. As with any festival there are planned road closures in place which will prevent normal traffic including Ubers and taxis from getting to Ashton Court, where the event is being held, so knowing where to get dropped off is vital.
With some of the road closures starting as early as 6am, we have pulled together the list organisers have shared on their website. Love Saves the Day takes place today (Saturday, May 27) and tomorrow (Sunday, May 28), with some big acts set to play.

B3128 from Beggar Bush Lane junction to P7R/David Lloyd junction
“This closure will be in place from 10:00 to 00:00 each day.”
A370 from Ashton Gate to the Colliters Way junction
“This closure will be in place from 21:00 to 00:00 each day.”
Bower Ashton Residential Streets
“Courtlands Road/Kennel Lodge Road, Parklands Road, Blackmoors Lane and access to the allotments will be closed to non-residents from 08:00 to 01:00 on each show day, with Kennel Lodge Road shut from 06:00 to 01:00.”
Yanley Lane
“There will be a one-way order in place on Yanley Lane, with a closure of its northbound lane only from the A38 junction to the Glebe Road junction between 10:00 to 00:00.”
With these road closures, organisers have suggested that festival goers look for alternative modes of transport, whether that be getting a Voi scooter (there is a designated parking bay located on Kennel Lodge Road) or bringing your bike which organisers say ‘is left at the owner’s risk’.
Or if you’re looking for a straightforward and easy way to arrive at the festival you can get the Love Bus which will be running at regular intervals throughout the day between Bristol Temple Meads, the City Centre and Long Ashton Park.
