Love Saves The Day has released vital safety information ahead of the festival this weekend (May 27-28). Organisers have partnered with Bristol Drugs Project to promote safe drug use and to be informed before heading to Ashton Court.
UK law prohibits people from being in possession of illegal drugs and henceforth bringing them to festivals. The festival has said while it doesn't condone drug use on site, people may choose to take them. It is supplying safety information, support and medical services on-site to make the event safer for everyone.
Bristol Drugs Project will be present on site on Saturday and Sunday in between the food traders and bars opposite the Transmission stage. The stall known as 'The Drop' will offer information on safer partying and a place for festival goers to take some time out.

It is also offering a chance to win tickets to Love Saves The Day 2024. The Drop will also be present at Bristol Pride, Forwards, Tokyo World and Valley Fest.
In recent years, some events have taken new steps into helping ensure people have a safer experience. Many UK festivals have introduced drug testing and amnesty bins to raise awareness of harm reduction.
Love Saves The Day has highlighted ways people can lower their risks for those who do decide to take drugs over the weekend. This includes advice on taking a test dose, avoiding mixing substances, looking out for others and keeping hydrated.
This weekend is set to be a scorcher with highs of 22°C over the weekend, making it important to stay hydrated. There are four free water refill points located on the site as well as drinks available from the bars around the festival.
Love Saves The Day is at Ashton Court on May 27-28
