Billy Brown's sister has come to his defence after he was slammed for his actions towards Danica Taylor on Wednesday night's episode.
The Love Island star, 23, received backlash on Twitter after he upset Danica by ignoring her during the Snog, Marry, Pie challenge and later dumped the dancer –after telling the boys about what they had got up to under the sheets.
Billy's antics on the episode received some heated backlash on Twitter as viewers saw Danica break down in tears.
One wrote: "Billy really is acting like a boy and acting like an idiot in the villa poor Danica. Gemma don’t want you when will he get the memo."
Another added: "Danica crying was heartbreaking, karma gonna be hitting billy like a truck #LoveIsland".
And a third said: "Feel for Danica so much she deserves better than Billy #LoveIsland".
But some defended Billy as they wrote: "Unpopular opinion but Danica didn’t ask Billy for permission before telling Indiyah and summer about their fumble under the sheets."
Now Billy's sister, who is running his Instagram account in his absence, has shared her thoughts on the episode, slamming the show as "toxic".
Billy's sibling also called out Adam for telling the girls what Billy had shared with the lads.
The post on Billy's Instagram story read: "My thoughts/opinion on last nights episode...
"First of all double standards is a thing," embarrassed face emoji.
They continued: "I feel Billy was probably put off from Danica's behaviour after the snog marry pie game as she took it too seriously. Its a game.
"After this, he called it a day, and they both maturely dealt with it and moved on.
"Adam tells the girls about the bedroom antics & stirs the pot. Ekin joins in to stir it up even more & makes out like Bill has done something the boys & girls haven't been doing every morning since the show started.
"& didn't Danica tell the girls about it too? Oh yeah," followed by an eye roll emoji.
They went on: "As soon as the beach club comes into it, you can clearly see it was a set up ready for mad drama. Then the girls egged Danica on to start arguing again. At this point Billy had had enough. He was confused at why the day before it was fine & now its all mad again.
"I could tell he didn't understand why she was shouting about it now and wasn't giving the same energy to it the day before.
"Bring our boy home. Away from this mad toxic place".
Meanwhile, the person behind Danica's Instagram account shared a photo of the star and wrote: "That was so difficult to watch our girl crying on tonight’s episode but we are super proud that she stood up for herself. Fingers crossed Danica is saved".
It comes as Billy didn't give Danica a snog or a proposal in the challenge, the 21-year-old confided in Summer Botwe and Indiyah Polack and burst into tears about how it made her feel.
She said: "Once again I'm literally back in the same situation. I don't want to get upset but I'm literally sick of it."
Later, Billy confessed to some of the Islanders that there wasn't a romantic connection between himself and the dancer but had previously told some of the Islanders there had been something between them in the bedroom the night before.
As Danica and Billy sat down, he apologised to her but said his actions were "banter" as they called it a day and Danica expressed how she felt "disrespected" by him.
Things appeared to end on a good note but the next day at the Islander's VIP Party, where Danica sat down with Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu and Gemma Owen, she was encouraged to confront Billy over his actions.
A furious Danica confronted Billy and the pair ended up having an explosive row, as the dancer said: "I don't feel like I got things off my chest."
The argument became heated as Billy accused her of "changing her tune" before calling his behaviour discussing and adding it "makes you look like a pig".
Roofing company director Billy branded the conversation "mental" and told Danica to "stop swearing", causing Danica to fume.
