Love Island viewers spot Tasha wandering around the villa clutching odd item

Love Island viewers saw the lighter side of some tense love triangle developments on Monday night, as Tasha Ghouri clung onto her crisp as she was marched around the villa to discuss her romantic life.

Those tuned into the ITV2 show couldn't help but notice the Yorkshire lass had been trying to enjoy a snack prior to her fellow residents discussing her chats with newbie Jacques O'Neill - ex-boyfriend of fellow contestant Gemma Owen - while she's coupled up with estate agent Andrew Le Page.

Love Island's first ever deaf contestant was called for a conversation about her relationship status by the firepit, all while she was munching on some crisps.

"Why is Tasha just walking around holding a crisp," one viewer noted on Twitter, with another adding: "Tasha gripsing that crisp."

A third joked: "Obsessed with Tasha getting dragged around the villa with a crisp in her hand, can they let the poor girl finish her snack please!"

"giggling at tasha clutching that crisp for dear life," another quipped on social media as the social aired on Monday night.

Tasha's crisp clutching comes after Love Island alum Amy Hart revealed all about the Islanders eating habits last week.

The former air hostess, who appeared on the ITV2 show in 2019, has been spilling some behind-the-scenes secrets about the dating series over on her TikTok account.

Answering a question asking what she and her villa housemates had for dinner and breakfast, Amy said: "Breakfast we made ourselves. Lunch and dinner were brought in - they were made by a catering team off-site and they brought it in.

"I treated it a bit like an all inclusive buffet. So I would have curry and rice, then wash my plate off, then have the pasta and sauce, wash my plate off and then have cheesecake!

"And that's why I put on 3 kilos during my time in the villa. Fun times!"

The reality TV star then went on to reveal just why you never see Islanders enjoying a meal together on Love Island and just what got discussed around the dinner table.

"There is so much stuff that doesn't make it into the main show anyway, you wouldn't want to see us eating as it's boring" the reality TV star confessed to her fans.

"You don't have to eat in silence but you can't talk about anything to do with the villa or anything - it's what they call 's*** chat'.

"So it was like, you could talk about maybe people you may mutually know on the outside, or Instagram, or just boring stuff that they wouldn't want to show."

Amy's stint in the villa three years ago saw her leave heartbroken, after splitting from dancer Curtis Pritchard and heading home on Day 37.

* Love Island, tonight at 9pm on ITV2 and ITV Hub. Episodes are available the following morning on BritBox.
