Love Island 2022 has almost come to an end. The final for series 8 is fast approaching with just a handful of days left until it finishes for good on Monday, August 1.
As the countdown continues the five remaining couples have been treated to some epic dates. So far viewers have seen Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu and Davide Sanclimenti exchange "I love you" over an emotional dinner while being serenaded by Alfie Boe.
While Indiyah Polack and Dami Hope became official after a street party with drummers and flamenco dancers. The latest instalment of Love Island also saw Swansea-born Paige Thorne and bombshell Adam Collard, who hails from Newcastle, set sail on a romantic boat date.

The pair discussed their feelings for each other and how they see things going once they leave the show. Adam told Paige: "I tried to play it cool, it didn't work out at all. It lasted 24-hours, if that."
Before adding: "I'm excited for you to meet the fam. I actually know they'll love you so much. Family is a big part of me. I know what they'd feel about you anyway."
"I feel the same about my parents," Paige responded. "They'll be rooting for you for sure."
But while the pair seemed smitten on their date, many fans took to social media to share a wild theory. It turns out, that some Love Island viewers think the boat dates are actually cursed, reports The Mirror.
Three couples from previous seasons were sent on the boat dates, with them splitting up shortly after the series ended.
Liberty Poole and Jake Cornish from the series last year were two of the victims of the supposed "boat curse". They split while still in the villa. In 2019, Amber Gill and Greg O'Shea enjoyed a romantic boat trip and went on to win the show but the duo broke up shortly after.
The curse goes back two more years. Olivia Attwood and Chris Hughes were also on a boat before splitting less than a year after the show.
After spotting Paige and Adam were going on a boat date, one social media user said: "So Paige & Adam got the boat date?!? I wonder what could go wrong? Is not like we all know what that means…" one social media user said.
While another joked: "Paige and Adam got a stupid little boat date they going home for sure."
"If ur final date is on a boat, then it’s never going to last. I said what I said," a third viewer posted.
