Love Island viewers were cringing during Friday's programme when they were forced to listen to the sounds of the contestants kissing.
Barely 10 minutes into the show, new boy Montel McKenzie and Leah Taylor sat down to discuss their attraction to each other.
It was all going smoothly until the two leaned in for a sensual snogging session which left viewers at home twitching in annoyance.
The stars' microphones seemed to be 'extra sensitive' as fans had to listen to Montel and Leah's kissing noises at a high volume.
Taking to Twitter, viewers begged ITV producers to 'mute the mic' when any of the contestants are kissing.
One user said: "I beg turn off the mics man we don’t need to hear all that."
"TURN OFF THE MICS WHEN THEY'RE KISSING PLEASE!!" one annoyed fan commented while another said: "What is the need for the kissing noises to be so loud? It makes me feel physically ill."
One person posted: "The kissing noises need to be toned down gives me the ick."
"I can’t stand the kissing sounds. Can they mute," another fan said.
Montel arrived in the Spanish villa earlier this week and revealed he had his eyes on Leah, Catherine and Ella.
"My top three right now would be Catherine, Leah and Ella. Ella for me is generally my type, Catherine carries herself well and seems like a classy girl," he said.
"Leah seems very chilled and that’s the kind of person I am."
He added: "Watch your girls because the guy that gets all of the girls is coming into the Love Island Villa."
Meanwhile, the latest episode of the dating competition saw season two icon Kady McDermott return to the villa.
The boys were shocked to see her as she waltzed into the villa while the girls were off on a spa day.
Relationships might struggle as the Love Island veteran fierce attitude and gorgeous look catch the boys' attention.
