Love Island finalists Samie Elishi and Tom Clare have broken their social media silences for the first time since the end of their relationship was reported.
The pair came third in the most recent winter series which ended just a month ago, but have struggled to make their romance work, it's understood.
The couple sparked split rumours earlier this month after being spotted on separate nights out.
London beauty Samie, 22, lived it up at a Pretty Little Thing bash with fellow Love Island stars and influencers, while Tom was nowhere to be seen.
Instead, the 23-year-old Macclesfield FC footballer was back home in Barnsley for a few days, enjoying a meal out with family and friends.
It seems the couple have decided to call it a day on their romance - which started when bombshell Samie caught Tom's eye in the villa.
Tom took to his social media on Monday to post a selfie of him on a train, appearing to brush off all talk of the end of their relationship.
The reality star beamed as he listened to music next to the train window with his AirPods in.
"Live on these things recently," the former Islander wrote over the image.
He sat posed in a black hoodie and cream puffa jacket for the journey.
Elsewhere, on her own Instagram, brunette Samie took to her Story to share an update with fans.
She snapped a picture of her and a friend enjoying the sunshine as they tucked into their lunch.
Earlier today, a source told The Sun: “Samie and Tom have sadly decided to call it a day. There is a lot of love and respect there but it just wasn’t going anywhere.
“The distance between them was too much and they are both really focused on their careers post-Love Island.”
Tom and Samie came third on this year’s Love Island – losing out on the top spot to winners Kai Fagan and Sanam Harrinanan. Second place went to Lara Jenkins and Ron Hall.
In March, things seemed to be going well for the couple, with Tom saying: “Me and Samie couldn’t be any better – obviously Samie’s down in London and I’m up north, but we’re making it work.
Revealing their plans for the future, smitten Tom said he thought there was a good chance him and Samie will eventually move in together.
He shared: “I think if we could, we’d move in together tomorrow, but we’re just making it natural. I’d live wherever Samie wants to live, I’m not bothered me.”
Tom and Samie are the first finalist couple to apparently split, but certainly not the first from the series.
Casey O'Gorman, 26, and Rosie Seabrook, 24, were dumped from the villa just days before the final and just two weeks later announced they had split, revealing "life outside the villa is just very different for them".
Another couple to call time on their relationship is Olivia Hawkins, 27, and Maxwell Samuda, 23, who reportedly "drifted apart" after leaving the villa.
