Love Island star warns of treacherous, icy conditions on Glasgow's roads and pavements

Former Love Islander Laura Anderson is warning Scots to take extra care if they're out and about in Glasgow, as the cold weather has brought icy conditions.

The reality TV star posted a video on Instagram to her 1.4M followers say that it was dangerous underfoot thanks to black ice.

Laura, 33, from Stirling was out and about in Glasgow yesterday and had to walk on the road because the pavements were too icy.

But she added that the road wasn't much better and has urged anyone heading out to be careful, reports the Daily Record.

She said: "Okay gang, this is a warning. If you are from Glasgow and you are deciding to go on your little journey today, well it's so icy.

"I'm on the road and I don't even know if it's worse than the pavement. I don't know if you can see but it's pure black ice.

"I'm just skating basically and that's on the road. So please be careful."
