Love Island star slams fans who say she's 'ruined face' with drastic fox eye facelift

Love Island star Mollie Salmon has hit back at trolls who criticised her for getting a fox eye lift.

The controversial procedure involves lifting the outer corner of the upper eyelid and stretching it toward the temple in a bid to elongate the eyes.

Mollie, 24, who rocked up in Casa Amor last year, jetted off to Turkey for the surgery, before sharing a snap of herself looking bloodied and bruised 24 hours post-operatively.

She captioned the post: "Fox eye surgery recovery, the healing process is a journey."

Many of her followers were horrified by the snap with many telling Mollie they would 'never consider bug eye surgery'.

However, after revealing the results of the eye lift, the reality star posted a video on TikTok, saying: "Reading through all my comments saying I've ruined my face with fox eye surgery...

Wearing black shades she mimed over the sound, admitting: "I had a little cry earlier, and I had a big cry last night, but I'm not crying now and I think for that, I'm doing so well."

As Mollie took off her sunglasses to reveal her new look, she smiled, announcing: "The fox eye face reveal you’ve all been waiting for."

The clip has gone viral with more than four million hits as many of Mollie's followers told her they loved the 'beautiful result'.

However, while Mollie may be happy with her surgery, Geordie Shore's Chloe Ferry wishes she'd never had fox eye surgery.

She said her "botched" procedure left her with a "permanent" scar and affected her mental health.

The reality star had the two-hour procedure last year and is said to have ended up in hospital shortly afterwards when she developed an infection.

Chloe said the treatment left her scarred and with a "dint" in a venture she said was one of her "biggest mistakes".

Speaking to The Sun, the reality star said she'd been "going through hell" since she had the procedure, suggesting she may need a skin graft to fix her face.

Chloe claimed her face "started pussing" and her skin begin to "ripple," adding that she was later told she had an infection, after having other symptoms including a temperature.

"No one knows why it went wrong but the doctors said it could've gone in my eye, which would be so much worse," she further commented about the experience.

Discussing the physical impact, she admitted: "It has actually ruined my life and made me so insecure".
