Liam Llewellyn spoke of his nerves about being rejected on Love Island - just days before 'quitting'.
The Masters student - who is studying Strength and Conditioning - had shared his biggest fear about the show ahead of his debut, and it appears he may have quit for this reason.
In tonight's show, Liam will explain why he's decided to leave the show just four days in, but it appears it could be something to do with not being picked by the girls - after Davide stole Gemma Owen from him.
Gemma didn't seem too interested in Liam, whilst newcomers Akin-Su and Afia made their thoughts clear too.
Speaking to The Mirror and other press before going into the villa, he said: "Something I am most nervous about is probably the feeling of not being wanted in a recoupling or something, not being picked.
"Everyone wants to be wanted, and wants to be picked. So it’s the feeling of not being picked is a nerve-wracking thought for me. That feeling of being rejected, it's never a nice feeling."
Liam also explained how he would feel "vulnerable" in front of the whole world if he was rejected.
"It puts you in a vulnerable position and that's in front of the whole world. And you’re vulnerable to everyone," he added, "I think that’s a position I don't think anyone would want to find themselves in."
Liam will explain why he decided to quit the show during tonight's episode, but sources have claimed to The Sun that Liam didn't "feel like himself" during his time in the villa and his dad jetted to Mallorca to be with him.
"Liam has left the villa. He gathered the Islanders at the fire pit and told them he just didn’t feel like himself and he thought it was best if he went home," an insider explained.
As another added: "Liam’s confidence was totally knocked when he lost Gemma so when he then also didn’t manage to catch Ekin-Su or Afia's eye he started to totally overthink everything he did. He just began to worry about everything and then felt guilty that he wasn’t enjoying the whole experience like he felt he was meant to, so called it quits.
"At this point Liam feels really upset. His dad David flew straight out to Majorca to be with him."
