Gemma Owen has denied knowing Billy Brown before entering Love Island as well as claims "there was something more" between them.
The 19-year-old, daughter of football legend Michael Owen, was runner-up in the ITV2 dating show alongside partner Luca Bish, but the pair hit the rocks in the final weeks of the series, in part due to her supposed flirtation with Billy. Gemma and Billy's flirty banter caused a row with Luca after footage was shown to the group during the infamous Movie Night.
The pair were seen chatting to one another in the kitchen while Luca watched from a bean bag and Billy even asked Gemma for a hug. The dressage rider has now set the record straight on claims from fellow contestant Jack Keating that she and Billy “vibed big time” during their time in Casa Amor.
