Former Love Island star Amy Hart has revealed that she is expecting her first child with boyfriend Sam Rason.
The 30-year-old announced the happy news on Loose Women , where she was met with a celebratory cheer from hosts including Denise Welch and Kaye Adams . Amy had previously appeared on the ITV show to share her fertility struggles, which involved having her eggs frozen, the Manchester Evening News reports .
Amy told the panel: “When I've been on here I've talked about fertility MOTs and Loose Women then supported me to get my fertility MOT. Then I came on here and shared the results.

“Then I froze my eggs because of that and then I came on here and talked about that. Then I met Sam and he had his first TV appearance on Loose Women. So I felt it was the only place to announce that I'm pregnant,” she announced.
Amy, who appeared on Love Island in 2019, has been with boyfriend Sam since April 2021 after they met through the dating app Bumble. The pair moved in together in Hertfordshire after just two months of dating.
As Amy admitted that the pregnancy was “very unexpected”, Sam joined her on the Loose Women panel to share his reaction to the news. “It was just such a shock, it was so unplanned, it just happened - disbelief really,” he said.
Following her appearance on Loose Women, the star shared a picture of herself and Sam holding ultrasound pictures on her Instagram page. Revealing that the baby is due in March next year, Amy said that the pregnancy had meant both a week-long hen do and her thirtieth birthday were a sober affair, and added that it had been “so hard keeping it a secret”.
She wrote: “We’ve both had individual and collective worries over the years that this may not have been the simplest process or that it may not happen at all. Interestingly enough, we got pregnant unexpectedly because the app that was telling us the fertile window was SO out.
“So much so that if we’d started trying in January as planned we probably wouldn’t have fallen pregnant as we would have been nowhere near the ovulation days! We were told earlier this year that if we hadn’t fallen pregnant within 6 months of starting trying, it would be straight to IVF.”
