ITV bosses have reportedly made a 'huge switch-up' to the upcoming winter Love Island series – set to "cause trouble" in Casa Amor.
The new rumoured format change will see contestants move just metres away to a neighbouring property when the Casa bombshells arrive.
Traditionally the group is separated, with one group send to live in a new house far away from the main villa, well not this time, according to an insider.
Show producers are said to have picked a massive luxury home right next door to the main property in South Africa – allowing both parties to hear each other.
The iconic show section is normally a recipe for drama as new arrivals attempt to stir things up – and it appears this year will be no different.
"Casa Amor's inhabitants have always been able to relax in the knowledge that the people they're coupled up with are miles away," claims the source.
"Well not any more," they told The Sun. "If there's any wild partying going on, the main villa may well be able to hear it."
They added: "This year, it really could be a case of having trouble with the neighbours as the bombshells try to crack couples apart."
The Mirror has contacted ITV for a comment.
It comes as new host Maya Jama shared details of her preparation for the new winter series of the ITV2 reality show, telling fans she’s "in shape and ready".
The TV presenter posted a snap to her Instagram Stories alongside her personal trainer in the gym on Sunday ahead of the return of the hit dating show.
Maya, 28, was confirmed as the new Love Island host replacing Laura Whitmore earlier this year and is set to make her debut as the show returns to South Africa for the winter version for the first time in three years.
Maya reposted the casual picture from her personal trainer’s account as she posed in black sports leggings, a sports bra and a grey jacket, with a bicep in the air.
"I GOT A MESSAGE," he wrote to his fans alongside an island emoji. "Love Island, your new host is in shape and ready."
