Love Island's Tom Clare has sadly confirmed his split from Samie Elishi. The couple, who came third in the winter series of the popular ITV2 dating programme, have gone their separate ways.
The reality television star took to his Instagram Story to confirm the news, telling his followers: "I didn't think I'd be writing this but me and Samie have gone our separate ways... We are still on good terms and I have nothing but love and respect for her. I'm gutted it's come to an end but I truly wish Samie the best."

It comes after reports the pair had decided to go their separate ways as they struggled with a long distance relationship. Tom lives in Macclesfield, while Samie is based in London.
Earlier this week a source told The Sun: "Samie and Tom have sadly decided to call it a day. There is a lot of love and respect there but it just wasn’t going anywhere. The distance between them was too much and they are both really focused on their careers post Love Island."
Tom and Samie aren't the only Love Island 2023 couples to go their separate ways, with Casey O'Gorman and Rosie Seabrook and Olivia Hawkins and Maxwell Samuda also calling it quits.
