Love Island's Tasha Ghouri 'dated a TV star' just three months before entering villa

Love Island star Tasha Ghouri reportedly dated Too Hot To Handle's Robert Van Tromp a few months before entering the show.

The contestant, who is the series' first deaf contestant, is currently coupled up with Andrew Le Page in the Mallorcan villa.

According to MailOnline, Tasha and Netflix's Robert met in October and dated for five months before going their separate ways.

"Robert is gutted after seeing Tasha on Love Island," a source told the publication.

"She ticks all his boxes and he had hoped to reconnect with her after regretting their breakup.

"Tasha is the one that got away and he believes he let a gem go, watching her on the show this summer won't be easy for him." The pair dated for five months.

Their romance ended in March, only a couple of months before Love Island began.

Robert previously dated Christina Carmela after meeting on the Netflix show, which he was part of in June 2021.

They ended their relationship in September 2021, a month before he met Tasha.

“I wouldn’t say it’s civil. I think the break-up was civil but we certainly have different interests and priorities in life. I think that has potentially hindered any kind of friendship moving forward," he said on Access All Areas.

"I hadn’t touched a dating app for 6 or 7 years so going on that was madness really. Kind of in this jungle of opportunity.”

Meanwhile, model and dancer Tasha - who hails from Thirsk in Yorkshire - recently discussed what she would be doing with the prize money if she won the dating show.

She has a cochlear implant, after being born completely deaf and had the device in since she was five years old when she underwent an eight-hour surgery to have it fitted.

Now, she isn't shy to show off her implant and dubs it her "superpower", revealing that guys tend to find it an attractive element about her as she's so confident about it.

Speaking to The Mirror and other press before entering the villa, she said: "If I did win the prize money, it would be a shock. My plan is that I'd give 50 per cent of it to the National Deaf Children's Society. That's been the plan from the start.

"I have raised money for charity before, so it's something I'd love to do to give back."

Tasha is currently getting to know Andrew, but fans claim they are destined for failure as the couple reminded them of Amy Hart and Curtis Pritchard.

Taking to Twitter, one user wrote: "Tasha and Andrew is giving me amy and Curtis vibes #LoveIsland."
