Love Island's Summer admits burning connection with unlikely boy which 'never aired'

Love Island beauty Summer Botwe has revealed that she had a burning romantic connection with a fellow islander which producers decided not to air.

The 22-year-old, from Hertfordshire, was booted from the show on Wednesday evening alongside fellow islander Billy Brown after the pair failed to find a meaningful connection in the villa - or so it would seem.

Summer entered the show three weeks ago as a Casa Amor bombshell, and after laying eyes on the brunette beauty, Dami Hope's head was immediately turned.

Dami brought Summer back to the main villa and decided to couple-up with her, leaving his former flame Indiyah fuming.

However, as days went on in the villa as all the islanders were reunited after Casa Amor week, Dami found himself gravitating back to Indiyah, leaving Summer all alone.

Although sparks flew between singletons Summer and Josh, he was voted off the show before their romance could even begin.

And after her surprising villa exit, Summer has revealed that she did in fact have a connection with another Love Island contestant, but it was never shown by producers.

Speaking during her leaving interview, the gorgeous reality TV star admitted that she and Deji had an immediate connection when they first met.

"After Indiyah came back with Deji, we had a conversation and said we were both open to getting to know each other but just taking it at a slow pace because that would dig an even bigger hole, me moving to the guy Indiyah brought back," she admitted.

Despite the drama that went dow between Summer and Dami, she believes that her former flame has the potential to win the show alongside Indiyah.

“Despite the situation, I do think Dami and Indiyah’s connection is very genuine and I am rooting for them to win the show," she told.

"I don’t think other couples are as genuine as them, I am rooting for them all the way #Damiyah all the way,” she said.

Love Island continues tonight at 9PM on ITV2.
