Paige Thorne and Adam Collard shared their first kiss on Love Island tonight [Sunday, July 17]. Viewers watched as the Welsh paramedic and bombshell locked lips following on from Jacques O'Neill's shock exit.
The pair have been enjoying getting to know in recent days after Paige's love interest Jacques decided to leave the villa in emotional scenes. You can read more about Jacques' exit here.
In the most recent recoupling Adam chose to couple up with Paige, and during tonight's episode the bombshell, who also appeared in series 4, told the Swansea-born contestant he "didn't know" where he stood. This led to Paige telling him he was in with a "60% chance" of a romance before the pair shared a smooch.

The kiss came after an explosive episode that saw many of the couples fall out over Movie Night, the challenge sees the boys and girls compete in a pub quiz in order to pick a short clip to watch. The clips showcase the secret - and not-so-secret - betrayals, stolen kisses and conversations had from the start of the series to now, including the show's biggest twist, Casa Amor.
Reacting to Paige and Adam's kiss, one person wrote: "Two weeks from the finale and the only solid couple we’ve got is Adam & Paige." While another added: "NOOOOO! Paige belongs with Jacques, not Adam!!!!!! He's definitely not going to be waiting for her on the outside now."
Paige and Adam's steamy kiss came after Jacques sensationally quit Love Island last week. The rugby player, 23, has since said that taking part in the show was the "worst decision of his life". You can read more about this here.
Love Island continues at 9pm on ITV2 and ITV Hub. Episodes are available the following morning on BritBox. For more showbiz and television stories get our newsletter here.
