Love Island's Paige Thorne and Adam Collard have split, says co-star Ekin-Su

Love Island 2022 winner Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu has revealed that co-stars Paige Thorne and Adam Collard have called time on their relationship. The couple's whirlwind romance appeared to be on the rocks when it became apparent that the 24-year-old paramedic had deleted all pictures of Adam from her Instagram.

Now, Ekin-Su, who recently signed up for the next series of Dancing on Ice, has said in an interview that Paige and Adam have split. Speaking on the day of her Beauty Works Edit launch, the Islander, 28, said: "It's over. It's done. I think Paige can do better, that's all I can say."

Ekin-Su, who won the ITV2 dating series with Davide Sanclimenti, paused and added: "I just think it's wrong, you know. This is my point of view in couples; when you come out of Love Island you are pressured, in a way, to stay together. Your real relationship starts when you are out of the villa. My feelings for Davide grew stronger out of the villa – same with him because I saw him out in the real world. We spend time together, I see him in different environments, we're always challenged."

Continuing her exclusive interview with The Mirror, Ekin-Su said: "Love Island is a bubble, it's almost like a different world – it's not real. But, when you come out and get... Men will love the attention when they come out, it's overwhelming but, Adam's already had that. So I just felt it was a bit wrong."

Paige and Adam sparked a romance when the Love Island veteran re-entered the villa in a second attempt to find love on the show. The pair just lost out on reaching the final, but continued to enjoy one another's company as they spent time together after leaving the villa. However, rumours of a split first began to swirl when a video showing Adam getting cosy with a woman in McDonald's circulated online.
