Love Island's Michael Griffiths unrecognisable with long hair three years after show

Love Island's Mr Chaldish looks unrecognisable three years after being booted off the show.

The Scouser, real name Michael Griffiths, left the villa in 2019 after telling winner Amber Gill she was "absolutely chaldish" - earning him the cheeky moniker.

Now, the former firefighter, 30, has stunned fans with his transformation as he showed off his rippling physique - and long hair.

Taking to Instagram answering questions about his training regime, Michael poses to display all of his muscles.

The personal trainer always kept himself in shape - but now he's ripped.

Filming himself at the gym and also flexing in his garden, he wrote: "If you're serious about starting a healthier life both mentally and physically while still enjoying the food you love and being able to go for dinner with friends, either DM me the word coaching or hit that link in my bio."

Michael's hair is also a lot longer than it was in the show as he films himself pulling it into a bun saying: "Look at this, I've got my own man bun. I'm going to be a great dad one day when I'm doing my daughter's hair."

He also shares a pic of him of his beautiful barnet, saying: "The frizz is out".

Fans of Love Island became obsessed with Michael's "chaldish" one-liner for Amber, which has since found its way into the Urban Dictionary.

The pair had a rocky time in the villa, after the Geordie was stunned when her beau returned from Casa Amor with another woman.

Fans lashed out at the hunk for ditching Amber for Joanna Chimonides in heated scene.

However, when they received the fewest public votes and the villa chose to save Michael, the Scouser was quick to let Jo go.

Joanna branded Michael a snake for staying and of course, Amber later coupled up with Irish rugby player Greg O'Shea and they went on to win the show together.

The personal trainer looked back on his time in the villa during an exclusive chat with Mirror Online.

When asked if he felt any regret after Amber went on to win the show without him, he said: "No, not at all. If I'd have stayed with Amber for the sake of it I'd be doing none of us any justice.

"We weren't going to work in a relationship so why would I drag it out and hurt her in the long run? Even though I hurt her there and then she went on to win it."
