Maya Jama has gate-crashed Love Island and forced the couples to turn on each other, as an afternoon brunch takes a dramatic turn on Tuesday's episode.
Right at the end of Sunday's episode of Love Island spin-off Aftersun, presenter Maya let the cat out of the bag to viewers that she was heading back to Mallorca, having not been in the villa since the first week of the new series. She promised Love Island fans at home that she was jetting in to 'stir' up some drama, with her comeback to the ITV2 show confirmed by narrator Iain Stirling before credits rolled on Monday night, with the narrator teasing: "Guess...who's back," as footage of Maya walking into shot appeared on screen.
Viewers were left to speculate just what Maya was returning to Love Island for, but ITV sources have now revealed that the popular presenter makes a late entrance to a brunch Bering laid on for the Islanders. In scenes that will play out on Tuesday's Love Island, the couples will sit down for what they are led to believe is a nice, relaxing morning date, until Maya strides into the villa to drop a bombshell.

Remaining coy, she tells them: "This is a bit of a surprise isn’t it? Stay where you are, this won’t take long. I hope you’re enjoying your cute brunch and time together." Maya continues; " Well, as you know, finding your perfect match isn’t always easy. You guys are all living together, spending every moment together. You all have a front row seat into everyone's relationship. You see first hand how it all goes down.
And it's then that the host finally divulges the real reason she's in the villa, adding: "In your couples you now have a very big decision to make. I want you to decide which two couples are the least compatible and tonight I’ll be back to find out who you all have chosen. This won’t be easy, so I'll leave you to it and I will see you later."
