Love Island's Luca Bish was shocked by Gemma Owen 's confession that her favourite thing about him is his teeth - which are fake.
Luca, who finished runner-up with Michael Owen's daughter on the latest series of the dating show, was doing a quick Q&A on Instagram with his followers when the surprise revelation was made. The pair were in a hotel room and one fan asked the fish monger, 23, what the duo's favourite things about each other were.
After a short ponder, Luca revealed he loved Gemma's face. He then asked Gemma what she liked about him and she confessed in the background: "Your teeth."
The confused star then questioned: "My teeth? They're fake." He looked slightly taken aback by her answer but quickly moved on to the next question and shared with his fans that he was a Tottenham Hotspur fan. Unfortunately for his followers, the Q&A was quickly cut short after Gemma fell asleep.
Footage from when Luca had his teeth done in Turkey has recently emerged. He underwent extensive dental treatment in the country alongside his ex-girlfriend in 2020 and the procedure was captured in a video.
It has now resurfaced and documents his pearly white smile before and after receiving the custom-made porcelain fittings. In the video, which also shows Luca with shoulder-length hair, the man from Brighton is seen talking with consultants at the Antalya clinic and picking out the shade his teeth are going to be.
The former couple’s whole experience at the clinic was filmed and shows them having scans on their teeth before a plan was put in place by the dentists as to what adjustments were necessary. At the end, the couple revealed their new smiles, with Luca revealing he had his top ten and bottom ten teeth refined.
Gemma and Luca recently enjoyed a short holiday together in which he finally got to meet her famous dad.
Luca is she to have been introduced to former England football star Michael Owen 10 days after leaving the Love Island villa with the 19-year-old on his arm.
Luca and Gemma are said to have flown out to the Algarve, Portugal on Thursday morning to meet the former Liverpool star at the family's villa in Quinta Do Lago. He was said to be "nervous" to meet him after already meeting Gemma's mum during the "Meet the Parent" episode of Love Island.
