Love Island's Luca Bish signs for football team in Sussex after making it official with Gemma Owen

Gemma Owen Luca Bish Sussex Football Michael Owen

Luca Bish appears to be following in the footsteps of his girlfriend Gemma Owen's famous footballing father. After meeting on Love Island Luca and Gemma, who is the daughter of footballer Michael Owen, are now officially boyfriend and girlfriend.

The 23-year-old former fishmonger has just signed to a non-league football team and will play for Sussex outfit Hailsham Town, marking his return to the sport. The football team posted a picture of Luca to their Twitter feed saying that they were "delighted" at their new arrival.

The post read: “Delighted to announce a new arrival at The Beaconsfield. Previously with Saltdean United, welcome to the #Stringers Luca Bish!”
