Love Island star Lavena Back and her husband have welcomed their first child, and fellow co-stars have already rushed to congratulate her.
Taking to Instagram to reveal the wonderful news, Lavena, who entered the villa as a Casa Amor bombshell in 2019, shared an adorable black and white pic of her and her partner holding their newborn's tiny hand. The post caption read: "Welcome to the world baby Sage. Our greatest gift is you!"
Belle Hassan, Jourdan Riane, Joanna Chimonides and Yewande Biala were among the Love Island contestants who flooded the comment section with their well wishes. Mum-to-be Amy Hart, Sherif Lanre and Lucie Donlan also congratulated the new parents.
Back in March, Lavena confirmed she was pregnant a month after she and her husband got engaged. The ITV2 stared shared a video to social media, her partner meets her on a rooftop of a building with a bouquet of flowers he had just purchased.
In the clip, her blossoming baby bump can be seen as he hands her the flowers and he touches her belly. The two then walk away together looking over the moon, reports the Mirror.
At the time of her engagement, she wrote on social media: "My soulmate proposed to me where we had our first date! 2022 has started off amazingly!."
In April, she revealed the two had secretly tied the knot: "When you want something so bad you’ve just got to go for it… so we tied the knot.”
Fans might remember the bombshell from her time in Casa Amor on Love Island in 2019. She didn't manage to find love during her time on the show but ended up married with a gorgeous baby in the years following.
