Lana Jenkins has admitted her exes, including I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! hunk Owen Warner, will be "shocked" at her going onto Love Island.
The 25-year-old makeup artist was announced as one of 10 singletons heading into the ITV2 dating show's villa in South Africa in a bid to find love.
As she was confirmed as part of the lineup, it was soon revealed that Lana had previously dated Hollyoaks actor and I'm A Celeb star Owen, 23, in 2020.
When the pair were dating, Lana had posted a loved-up photo of herself cosying up to Owen, who also previously dating Stephanie Davis, while sat on a tree trunk. But, the snap has since been deleted.
Owen had even left a comment on one of her posts, writing: "Proper glowing [heart emojis]."
As she introduced herself in a clip for the show Lana revealed she has been single for two-and-a-half years, hinting her last romance could have been with Owen.
Now, Lana has decided to head into the villa in hopes of finding love but admitted the move may come as a surprise to some of her former love interests.
When asked how her exes would react to her being on the show while speaking to a group of journalists she spilled: "I think everyone will be shocked that I've not told – all [my] exes.
"If any of my exes went on I'd be shocked so I think it would work the other way around."
She added: "It's not a normal thing for your ex to be going on Love Island and it's such a strange concept but hopefully they will all be happy for me."
It comes as the makeup artist also revealed she was scouted for the series.
Luton-based Lana spoke about her experience of signing up to take part, Lana spilled: "It's been so amazing from the get go. I was approached for the show and I don't think I really thought about doing it prior to that – I was kind of just working and didn't really have it in my head.
"And then when it came about, I just thought: 'You know what, this is an opportunity that not many people get and I'm single, I'm young... I think I'm still young at 25!
"So I thought why not go for something and why not try and find someone that way?
"So when I approached it [the idea] to my mum, she was amazing. She was like, 'Absolutely go for it. When do you get an opportunity like this?'
"But also my mum was like, 'you need to think about everything'... 'Let's sit down, let's have chats about it'.
"But the pros are endless and I'm just really thankful that I've got this opportunity!"
She is no stranger to the camera, as when it was announced she would be taking part in the new series of the dating show, set in a stunning villa in South Africa, Lana revealed she had been on TV before.
She spilled: "In my work as a makeup artist I’ve worked with lots of celebrities. Also, when I was 6-years-old I used to live in Spain and I was in an episode of Benidorm as an extra."
