Love Island legend Kady McDermott is set to make an explosive return to the ITV show, seven years after a memorable stint in the villa.
Cast your minds back to 2016 and Kady was one of the most talked about contestants in the show's second run, starring alongside the likes of Miss GB Zara Holland, Alex Bowen and her love interest, Scott Thomas. After some serious drama and some huge rows, Kady and Scott made it all the way to the Love Island final that year, but their romance fizzled out after a year of trying to make things work back in the UK.
Kady then dated Miles Barnett from TOWIE, landing a role in the long-running show and having a few cat fights in the process and now it's being reported that Love Island bosses are keen for her to spice up the new series, which is already being championed by viewers as being 'way better' than the first few weeks of 2022's show.

"Kady was a fantastic Islander in 2016. She made brilliant television and bosses are hoping she can recreate the same magic in the villa this summer," a source told Mail Online. She's also still looking for love so for Kady the hope is that she can finally find the man of her dreams."
Love Island fans were quick to react to rumours of a Love Island comeback for Kady, with one taking to Twitter to post: "So it seems Kady will return to love island.. I’m here for the drama" and a second tweeting: "KADY IS BACK ON LOVE ISLAND!!!!!"
