Love Island 's Jessie Wynter and Will Young took a big step in their relationship on Friday before being told they were at risk of being dumped from the villa.
Spending their final date at a farm joined by horses, chickens and goats, Jessie remarked: “This literally looks like my home in Australia.”
As they made their way into a barn they were met by a band and dancers as Will brought out his best moves.
Afterwards, sitting together on the hay bales, Will said: “It’s like a massive reminder of home because my mum and dad would talk about barn dances and I’ve never been to one, so experiencing it with you is such a magical moment.”
Jessie reflects on her journey with Will as she tells him: “I’ve had the best time here with you, I didn’t think I’d meet someone that I’d fall in love with so hard. You’ve been so supportive of me the whole way through, I want you to know how special you are to me.”
"I want you to be my boyfriend," she added as Will replied: "I think I'm going to cry."
Later, back at the villa, Jessie told the other girls that she wanted to make Will "feel loved" by asking him to be her boyfriend.
"Why should the boy have to do it?" Jessie asked as she celebrated in the villa.
The couple's happiness was short-lived, however, as they found out they were at risk of being dumped from the villa after the Islanders voted on who they thought was the least compatible.
Lana Jenkins and Ron Hall as well as Kai Fagan and Sanam Harrinanan are also at risk of missing out on the 2023 Winter Love Island final.
ITV viewers were left furious by the result and took to Twitter to share their frustration.
One angry viewer tweeted: "How can Kai and Sanam be vulnerable when the other two couples got two votes each? What a fix man #LoveIsland," while another wrote: "I don't understand how having one vote makes them as vulnerable as the couples with 2 votes. Fix! #loveisland."
A third said: "How are they criticising Kai and Sanam for not turning their heads- surely that proves their compatibility?? #loveisland," and another added: "Tanya thinks Kai and Sanam aren’t compatible bc they HAVENT argued??? Make it make sense #loveIsland."
Love Island continues on ITV2 on Sunday at 9pm.
