Jack Keating has claimed he and Gemma Owen were made to repeat their conversation about their famous dads on Love Island.
Gemma entered the show on day one, whilst Jack arrived with the Casa Amor bombshells half way through the series. As they arrived in the villa, Jack and Gemma sat down for a chat about their famous fathers - Ronan Keating and Michael Owen.
Now, Jack has claimed that he and Gemma were asked to have that conversation multiple times, which saw the pair discuss coming from a family that was under the constant spotlight. It was one of the first times viewers saw Jack on their screens.
Jack says he was "surprised" by the fact they had to repeat their conversation multiple times.
Speaking to the Mail Online, he said: "I think the biggest, most surprising thing for me is just like how many times they have to build things if they want to get different shots, different angles, different conversations.
"The producers will ask you again to sit down and have the same conversation again and bring up the same sort of things."
He added: "That's what I thought was the most surprising thing. My chat with Gemma we were having about our dads, they asked us to go sit down and have the same chat about our dads ... I was like, 'Oh god.'"
Jack said their reasoning was because they had to get more camera angles, but said he was confused by their request and found it awkward to get back into the conversation once again but he and Gemma did as asked.
In the chat that was broadcasted to viewers, the pair talked about their families, as Jack revealed to the horse-riding enthusiast: "My mum and my little sister are big into show jumping and everything like that. I know you’re big into it as well."
"Oh ok, oh wow!" before she asked: "So your mum is a showjumper? So what does your dad do?" Gemma then quizzed: "A well-known singer?" to which Jack replied: "Yeah he is, you know Ronan Keating? That's the old man."
However, Jack did make a blunder when he was on the show - which angered his dad.
"He was enjoying it and loving it and was proud of me beside the fact I said he was retired halfway through the show. He was pretty delighted with everything else that I said," he told the Daily Star, "But no he was not happy one bit that I said that he said he almost fell out of his chair when he first heard that. I was definitely in the dog house for a little bit when I first got back."
