Love Island's Indiyah Polack 'up for anything' but admits to 'commitment issues'

Love Island is ready to come back with a bang and if Indiyah Polack's claim of being "up for anything" is something to go by, this year's contestants will certainly bring the entertainment once again.

The 23-year-old hotel waitress from London was one of 11 contestants introduced to the public on Monday - a week before the official launch of the popular dating series.

And she admitted that she's keen to get going and is ready to meet new people.

Ahead of next week's launch show, Indiyah said: "I have been single for some time and I feel like for my generation of people, it’s quite hard to date without being influenced by social media and stuff like that.

"Love Island particularly is like a closed space and I think it is a great place to get to know someone one-on-one and build a real connection."

The beauty believes she won't find it too hard to gel with potential lovers in the villa and expects to bring "a lot of flavour and vibrancy" to our screens.

But despite her apparent readiness to settle down, she admits she can be "quite picky" and struggles with "commitment issues".

She confessed she will be "up for anything" and summed herself up in three words - positive, friendly and carefree.

When asked about her dating history she admitted that she doesn't seem to have a type, which could bode well for her time in the villa.

She continued: "Everyone I’ve dated have all been quite different. I don’t think I have ever been out with two guys who are quite the same."

And while she likes the dating scene, she isn't a fan of meeting someone off social media so hopes her time locked away in the villa will help boost her chances of finding love organically.

She's told fans - and potential suitors - she won't "fake it to make it", and added: "I don’t think I need to fake it or you know, be too over dramatic. I’ve got quite good energy and I feel like if we are meant to connect, we will."

However, the guys will have to tread finely as while confesses that while she falls in love quickly, she is just as easily turned off.

*Love Island starts at 9pm Monday 6th June on ITV2 and ITV Hub. Episodes are available the following morning on BritBox.
