Love Island's Indiyah and Dami talk love after double-elimination leaves them free to couple up

Indiyah Polack and Dami Hope have taken the opportunity afforded by Amber Beckford and Ikenna Ekwonna's elimination to get to know each other better. The Love Island contestants shared a kiss and spoke about love on Tuesday's episode (June 21) of the ITV dating programme.

The one-on-one conversation came after Amber and Ikenna were ejected from the villa as a result of a public vote. Viewers were quick to comment on social media that the outcome left Indiyah and Dami free to couple up.

Speaking in the villa's garden, Dami asked: “You’ve never been in love?”

Indiyah replied: “I feel I’ve had loads of love for someone but I don’t think I was ‘in love’.”

Dami then asked: “What would it take for you to be in love?”

Indiyah said: “A lot of contributing factors. I feel like if I’m with somebody and there is that slight feeling my head could be turned or I could have eyes for somebody else then that goes to show that I’m not in love.”

The pair shared a kiss later in the episode, which Dami described as "definitely" the best he had ever had. Reacting to their chemistry on Twitter, @swinnyy_ said: "Good for Indiyah and Dami, good for them."

@bodyelectrickk posted: "Dami and indiyah need to win idc both unproblematic both funny both kind."

@saraalisa_2 added: "I WANT WHAT INDIYAH AND DAMI HAVE."

@Elle__Angeles commented: "The chemistry between Indiyah and Dami is on Fireeeeeeee."

Love Island airs daily at 9pm on ITV2 and the ITV Hub. Episodes are available the following morning on BritBox.
