Love Island's Ikenna and Amber fly home after leaving villa and say it's the 'calm before the storm'

Amber and Ikenna flew home together after exiting the Love Island villa as the public's least favourite islanders. The pair were voted off the hit ITV2 show last night (Tuesday 21 June) and returned to London together.

They also made their return to social media with Amber posting a bikini picture where she warned a storm is on its way. The 24 year old commented: "The calm before the storm!"

The Mirror reports that Amber is seemingly referring to the changes in her life that will come after appearing on Love Island. Nottingham's Ikenna posted a video on his story with Amber writing: "En route to London."

Amber also posted a selfie with local Ikenna on their way back to England saying: "We back baby." On her story she also teased her 71,000 fans that she was with Ikenna by taking a photo of his famous Crocs and writing: "Guess who," with a bunch of laughing emojis.

She was inundated with comments from loyal fans who congratulated her on her journey and told her how stunning she looked. It comes after Amber's family revealed they have deactivated her Twitter account to protect her mental health.

The star was trolled on social media during her final days in the villa, which prompted her loved ones to take the page down in a bid to stop the nasty messages flooding in, and so Amber doesn't see them.

Sharing a post on behalf of Amber on Instagram, her family said: "Hey all, Ambers [sic] time in the villa has come to an end. We have received some lovely comments & messages and thank you from the bottom of our hearts.

"However as most of you are probably aware of some of the vile tweets, messages and post's [sic] that are being written about Amber. As Amber's family and friends this has been extremely hard to see and sometimes sickening."

They continued: "We didn't want to have to post something like this but please remember that bullying somebody over an hour episode of a televised show is damaging.

"Bullying and negative comments can be extremely harmful to someone’s mental health and sometimes in worse cases can be fatal. We will not stand for bullying and harassment."

The statement added: "For this reason, we have unfortunately decided to deactivate Amber's twitter before her arrival home to protect her mental well-being.

"This is a decision that has been made by Amber's close friends and family as it has been extremely for her family and friends to see, and we still want to make this an exciting time for Amber; not a negative one.

"We'd like to thank everyone again for some of the love and to those who have supported Amber on her journey. We wish Amber's new friends the best of luck in the villa and will continue to support them, please remember to be kind to them also; were only human. If you have nothing nice to say, keep it to yourself," they concluded.
