Iain Stirling has sent a sweet message to the Love Island 2023 production crew following the episode that aired on Tuesday, February 14. The instalment, which was more than an hour long, was an incredibly dramatic one and saw many heads turn during Casa Amor.
Casa Amor, which means Love House in Spanish, is an annual challenge that sees the introduction of a brand new line-up with six new boys and six new girls joining the show with the aim of ruffling feathers and tempting the contestants away from their current relationships.
The new contestants, like the original Islanders, are separated into two villas where dramatic scenes unfold as couples are tested and new love is found. After a few days the Islanders must choose to stick with their current partner or choose to couple up with a new contestant without knowing what their other half has decided.

In the line-up of girls this year is Layla Al-Momani, 28, Sammy James, 27, Cynthia Otseh-Taiwo, 25, Sanam Harrinanan, 24, Lydia Karakyriakou, 22, and Lynda Flix, 22. While the boys are made up of Kain Reed, 21, Ryan Weekley, 22, Frankie Davey, 22, Maxwell Samuda, 23, Bayley Mummery, 25, and Martin Akinola, 27.
During the instalment that aired on Valentine's Day viewers were left shocked as Will Young kissed and shared a bed with bombshell Layla despite being coupled up with Jessie Waters while Olivia Hawkins, who is coupled up with Kai Fagan, kissed Maxwell Samuda. Meanwhile Casey O'Gorman, who only recently coupled up with bombshell Claudia Fogarty, cosied up with Sanam Harrinanan on the daybeds before they too shared a kiss.
Following the explosive episode narrator Iain sent a sweet message to those working behind the scenes. Writing on Twitter he told his followers: "Just a little appreciation post for all the #loveisland production and film crew.
"Tonight's ep was over an hour long, involved 2 villas, 24 islanders, god knows how many cameras and several days worth of footage. All turned over in 24 hours. Well done them."
