Love Island's Gemma Owen disgusts Paige with bizarre sperm claim after horse confession

Gemma Owen made a bizarre claim about the calories in sperm on Love Island tonight.

The international dressage rider disgusted fans with her shock confession that she would lick a horse's bum for cash, and now, a few days later, she has made another unusual comment, and a weird claim about sperm - and how many calories it contains.

In an unseen clip, which aired on Love Island: Unseen Bits tonight, Gemma was sat on a bean bag by the pool as she chatted with Paige Thorne, before making an unusual comment about sperm, leaving viewers at home absolutely horrified.

Speaking to Paige, she said: "I heard that when you swallow, that has as much calories as eating two burgers."

"What? No way, that is disgusting," Paige then replied back, as narrator Iain Stirling made a hilarious comment in response: "I have put on weight since being in Spain but I promise you it's just burgers."

Fans watching the show took to Twitter, confused by her claim.

"Gemma no, I haven’t heard that before #LoveIsland," one wrote, as another added on social media: "Hearing gemma talk about swallowing is something I didn’t need to hear #LoveIsland."

A third wrote: "Where is Gemma getting her facts from .. 2 burgers!?? #LoveIsland."

"did i hear that correctly? swallowing had the same amount of calories as 2 burgers? gemma love you’ve been lied to #LoveIsland," a fourth added, with a fifth writing: "I don’t think that’s right gemma #loveisland."

Paige appeared disgusted by the remark (ITV)

It comes after Love Island fans were left feeling queasy when Gemma admitted she would lick a horse's bum for £2,000.

The 19-year-old and other girls in the villa were discussing dares they would do, with Paige saying she would not lick a "pig's a**e" for two grand and it was then Gemma - daughter of footballing legend Michael Owen - made the confession.

"I would do like, a horse's a**e is clean, as Paige replied: "it's humungous," to which Gemma said: "Yeah but they only eat grass really."

The conversation was cut short when one of the girls got a text.
