Love Island's first steamy snog as singletons race to get to know each other

Things are set to get steamy in the new episode of Love Island as two Islanders share a snog in the second episode.

10 Islanders entered the villa in South Africa, in scenes which aired last night, in a bid to find romance. Meanwhile, bombshell Tom Clare later crashed the party and has been tasked with finding out who he wants to couple up with in 24 hours.

The Islanders haven't even tried out the pool yet but are already cracking on as they gather around the fire pit for a game of truth or dare in scenes set to air tonight.

In the game, one of the lads are tasked with snogging the Islander he thinks is the best kisser.

The pair lock lips and the male Islander later confesses in the Beach Hut: "It was a good kiss, she’s a good kisser."

The identity of the Islanders who share the first snog is kept under wraps for now - so you'll need to tune in tonight to see who locks lips.

The game is filled with even more kisses as another Islander is dared to snog who they would most like to share a bed with other than their partner, which could lead to some tension and jealousy in the villa...

Elsewhere in the steamy game, Tanyel Revan is dared to have a dance off with her Islander of choice.

She picks Will Young and the pair prepare to battle it out on the dance floor. But, who will come out victorious.

The antics don't stop there either as bombshell Tom is dared to lock lips with the three girls he fancies the most.

Whom he chooses you will, one again, have to find out later.

The first episode of the new series kicked off last night, with Maya Jama making her debut as the programme's new host.

Viewers took to social media to praise the presenter, who held a watch party for her pals, with one calling her a "natural".

"It’s soo good to have #Maya presenting #LoveIsland someone with a great personality and just the right amount of cheekiness. Just like Caroline," one fan shared, whilst a second added: "This is Maya’s island and they are just living in it #LoveIsland."

A third wrote: "Maya was made for this role @MayaJama #LoveIsland."

"You'd think Maya had done this for years, queen #LoveIsland," a fourth penned, with a fifth writing: "Maya’s been in the villa more times in one episode than Laura did for a whole season. #LoveIsland."

The show's former presenter Laura Whitmore, who quit the series in August, remained silent following Maya's debut.

Laura, 37, failed to acknowledge Maya's Love Island debut as she shared snaps and videos from her trip to Marrakech instead.

Shortly before the new series kicked off on ITV2, Laura posted a snap of her sporting a giant weaved hat inside the city's Medina before posting a black and white clip of herself pouring tea.

As she shared the video, Laura wrote below: "Learning all the tricks! Thank you @saad_films for a great start to the week!"

Love Island airs tonight at 9pm on ITV2 and ITVX.
