Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu has suffered some painful injuries as she trains for Dancing On Ice.
The Love Island star appeared on Good Morning Britain today alongside her boyfriend Davide Sanclimenti as the pair discussed their upcoming travel show. Talk soon turned to the skating show, which Ekin-Su is busy training for ahead of the new year.
As she chatted with hosts Ben Shephard and Ranvir Singh, she showed off her painful injuries as she admitted she is putting all into the training as she is very "competitive" and really wants to win.
Showing off her injuries, she said: "It's gone now but there was a bruise. And I've lost a toe nail! It went backwards - but it's great. That will explain how my training is going, but I'm enjoying every second.
"I'm very competitive and I want to do well. I'm having fun with it and my partner Brendan is great. He's such a nice guy."
Ekin-Su says Davide is fully supportive of her being on the show - but it has been hard for the pair to find time to spend with one another. The couple say quality time away from the spotlight is the secret to their strong relationship.
Ekin-Su revealed a few weeks ago that she had been paired up with skating professional Brendyn Hatfield.
"So n-ice to meet my partner @brendynhatfield for this years @dancingonice today…Let’s smash it partner #dancingonice #itv," she penned alongside a photo of the pair standing on the ice together.
They have since thrown themselves into training but Ekin-Su and Davide have laughed off rumours of a 'curse', where the celebrities get close to their skating partners as they work together on the show with one another.
"If I hear one more thing about this Dancing on Ice curse I will laugh very hard," she wrote on Twitter, "Dear oh me… well at least my man fully supports me. Oooo I'm so scared of the curse. Oh I love it. Me and Davide are laughing at the comments."
When Ekin-Su was announced for the show, she revealed she was "so excited".
"I've got some amazing news to tell you, I’m going to be doing this year’s Dancing on Ice! I’m so excited, I can’t wait to get myself on the ice and skate. Stay tuned and see you on the ice!" she said earlier this year.
