Love Island 's Dami Hope and Indiyah Polack are set to get very close in tonight's episode that sees Ikenna Ekwonna seemingly stepped aside to let his close pal and partner couple up.
The 23-year-old has been struggling with her feelings for Ikenna, who she’s currently coupled up with, and eagle-eyed viewers have sensed that she has a crush on Dami, who is paired up with Amber Beckford.
But fans have insisted there’s no spark between Dami and Amber, with many calling on the hunk to dump her and focus on Indiyah instead.
In a surprise move during Monday night’s episode, Indiyah pulled Ikenna aside for a chat, as she spoke about the future of their relationship in the villa.
“I wanted to catch up with you and just have an open and honest conversation about how you actually think we are?” she says.
“Obviously I know we’ve been in here for like two weeks and we’ve been getting to know each other but an observation from me, I feel like I should know more about you and we should connect more,” Indiyah explained.
“So you feel like there’s something missing?” Ikenna replied, which prompted Indiyah to agree.
He then dropped the bombshell that he’d spotted she had chemistry with another boy in the villa.
“Do you know what I’ve noticed as well that you and Dami get on,” Ikenna told her.
Moments later, Dami pulled Indiyah aside for a chat, as he tried to explain that he has feelings for her.
“Do you feel like we have a connection?” he asked.
“We get along,” she coyly replied.
“Yeah but do you feel like we’ve ever had a spark?” he added, as Inidyah confessed she wanted to “explore” the possibility they should get to know each other better.
“I feel like we’ve not been able to explore that and obviously I feel like we do get along but we’ve never actually looked at each other in that light,” Indiyah said, as she admitted she would’ve wanted to couple up with him “but we just never went down that path”.
“I am actually open to exploring you because I feel like I don't want to just coast in here and I feel like with you it’s just easy for me,” Dami confessed.
Love Island continues tonight at 9pm on ITV2 and ITV Hub. Episodes are available the following morning on BritBox
