Love Island's Coco Lodge spills on emotional Andrew scenes that were cut from show

Love Island alum Coco Lodge has said that scenes of her being "emotional" amid drama surrounding her, Andrew Le Page and Tasha Ghouri were cut from the ITV2 show.

Coco, 27, had been developing a relationship with Andrew, also 27, in the villa after meeting during Casa Amor – though he soon ditched her to rekindle things with Tasha, 24, upon the model's return to the main villa.

The drama saw Coco reveal that Andrew had "sucked [her] t**s" during their time together, with the news upsetting Tasha but prompting memes from viewers of the show.

Following her exit from the villa, Coco has said that whilst she sees the funny side of the situation, she had been quite emotional whilst it had all been unfolding at the time.

Coco spoke about her experience with The Sun, telling the outlet that the way the show was edited had shown her being a "sassy little minx" but not her feeling "really hurt."

She said: "When I was in there, I was really hurt and that’s the main thing that was cut from the show. You see me being this sassy little minx, however, I was so emotional."

The former Islander said she had been "crying so much" in the villa, adding: "I don't know how they cut all of that out."

Coco said that she had been "really hurt" by the situation and then left the villa to discover that the line about Andrew having "sucked her t**s or whatever" had become a meme.

She had been "really shocked" as the Casa Amor bombshell had thought producers wouldn't use such "crude" scenes, though she admitted that she found it "so funny" to see the memes about it.

Coco said that one scene that was cut from the show had seen her tell Andrew not to pick her during the Casa Amor recoupling if he planned to go back to Tasha afterwards.

She recalled having felt "really emotional" that day because Andrew seemed "really odd" with her – shortly before they received a text revealing that a recoupling was coming.

Coco said that she then spoke to Andrew and told him that she had become "emotionally invested" in him, with her not wanting to be used whilst he waited to reconcile with Tasha.

"If you're going to bring me back and then not stay with me once we're in the main villa, I'd rather you just not bring me back," she recalled telling Andrew ahead of the recoupling.

Coco said when he then chose to couple up with her, she felt "genuinely really happy" as she thought he must actually want to pursue a relationship with her – rather than Tasha.

The brunette, however, said that when Tasha returned with Billy Brown, 23, she could tell Andrew was "heartbroken". She said: "I was just like 'Oh, f***, I just know what’s going to happen now'."

The Mirror has approached ITV for comment.

Love Island continues tonight from 9pm on ITV2 and ITV Hub. Episodes are available the following morning through BritBox. The finale of the latest series airs tomorrow (August 1).
