Belle Hassan has spoken on how being attacked in the street in December left her "afraid" to go out.
Before Christmas, the Love Island 2019 star, 26, said she was "started on" by people who "hit her in the face" and "abused" her because of her reality show fame.
At the time, Belle, who is the daughter of actor Tamer Hassan, took to her Instagram page to tell her followers about the horrifying incident and shared snaps of her bruised face.
And now, she has opened up on the traumatic event and explained that she was "scared at first to go out in public" following being hurt.
The social media savvy star, 26, said: "Situations like that happen a lot to influencers on nights out and you know you get people coming up to you saying, 'You think you are something because you were on the telly,' And, I am like, no I don't."
Speaking to Johnny Seifert on Friday's Secure The Insecure podcast, she went on to tell that she returned to the scene of the incident as a way to move on.
She added: "But, I am all good. I was a little bit nervous after going out again.
"So you know what I thought. I am going to go back to the same place and conquer the fear and I did it and I was okay."
Last month, Belle showed her heavily bruised eye after the incident on social media.
Alongside the photos of the injuries, she wrote: "For all the controversy I have the cctv being sent and this is what has been done to me.
"I do not know this girl and yes when I have been messaged by her I have stuck up for myself. This is the last I will say on the matter."
The controversy that Belle was referring to was a post after she went for a night out with friends at London's Winter Wonderland.
The reality star has said that due to her time on Love Island, she has been targeted.
She told her followers: "It’s so sad to think that this happy photo went so bad so quickly because of a Love Island related attack.
"It’s so sad to think because of the short time I had on a poxy TV show that I will never be able to live my life again without being hit in the face for no reason or go out without girls starting on me and abusing me for no reason."
Belle continued: "I’m sick of having to stand up for myself to prove I’m not a c*** to people and try to stand strong to show I’m not an idiot to everyone who asks.
"This is my reality and I’m sick of trying to stay strong.

"This is what I deal with week in and week out that I hide from my socials because I don’t want anyone to see this side of reality TV but this is my truth and now I’m taking time out for now."
Belle concluded: "I’m done because honestly I mentally and physically can’t take any more from this."
She also added in the caption: "I don’t want to talk. I don’t want to explain myself.
"When I’m ready I will be back and I will explain, but for right now I’m taking time out I hope you all can understand that and support me in this time.
"I love you and thank everyone who has always supported me on this crazy journey. But for right now I need time to process things."
