Love Island 2023 is in full swing after the winter edition of the popular ITV2 dating show kicked off on Monday, January 16. Season 9 of the programme is taking place in South Africa with new presenter Maya Jama and a fresh batch of contestants.
One of those cast members is Swansea-born Anna-May Robey. The payroll administrator, 20, is this year's youngest contestant and has joined the show to find a boyfriend who can make her laugh.
The Welsh Islander is currently coupled up with Haris Namani after her original partner, Kai Fagan, was "stolen" by Olivia Hawkins during the launch episode. You can read more about the brutal coupling up ceremony here.

Anna-May, who describes herself as "energetic" and a "chatterbox", made her Love Island debut in a red bikini with a matching red lip and wore her tumbling brunette locks down. However, before appearing on the show the 20-year-old looked totally different.
While she's a brunette bombshell in the villa, in the summer of 2021, Anna-May was a blonde. Pictures on the contestant's Instagram profile show off the drastically different and equally stunning look.
On why she joined the Love Island villa, Anna-May said: "I've been single for quite a while, my mother is bugging me, she's like, 'You need to find a boyfriend.' I'm just excited to try something new and I think going on Love Island is a good way to meet someone."
Ahead of her Love Island debut, the Swansea-born star also said she plans to bring fun to the villa and revealed she's always up for a laugh. She explained: "If someone tells me to go and dive in the pool I will probably do it.
"I'll bring energy to the villa, I'll get everyone up playing games! I'm also not afraid to get in someone's way; if I like someone, I'll let them know."
Anna-May joins Michelle Keegan body double and Bond star Olivia Hawkins, farmer and TikTok star Will Young, and student and influencer Tanya Manhenga in the villa. Also in the 2023 line-up are science and PE teacher Kai Fagan, makeup artist Lana Jenkins, financial advisor Ron Hall, hair stylist Tanyel Revan, airport security officer Shaq Muhammad, and TV salesman Haris Namani.
