Love Island’s Amber Gill proudly poses with Arsenal footballer Jen Beattie after going public with romance

Amber Gill was among the first to congratulate footballer girlfriend Jen Beattie after her side won the FA Women's Continental Tyres League Cup Final at the weekend.

The former Love Island star, 25, had been in the stands at Selhurst Park cheering on the Arsenal defender, 31, as her team won 3-1 over rivals Chelsea – their first trophy in four years.

Gill and Beattie were all smiles as they posed for a picture together in front of the pitch, which was shared to Beattie’s Instagram account amid a slew of images capturing her team’s moment.

“Conti Cup Champs Baby,” she wrote alongside the post.

Meanwhile, Newcastle native Gill shared a sweet image to her Instagram Stories taken from behind, showing her and Beattie with their arms around each other.

While they were first linked in December after being spotted enjoying a date at Winter Wonderland, the latest outing comes just days after they went public with their romance.

Taking to TikTok, Beattie shared a video of Gill rearranging the cupboards, which she captioned: “When your better half has other ideas for your day off.”

To which Gill replied teasingly: “Better half????”

Gill originally shot to fame when she won the fifth series of Love Island with Greg O’Shea back in 2019 and she swiftly landed a £1 million fashion collaboration with MissPap.

However, despite her good fortune professionally, the relationship with O’Shea only lasted five short weeks before he reportedly dumped her by text.

He denied this at the time and claimed: “I couldn’t give her what she wants and needs so I just had to say, ‘I can’t keep doing this. It’s not fair on you.’”

After that, Gill shocked fans when she announced on social media that she had sworn off men. She declared that “switching teams” was the best decision she has ever made and insisted she could not “go through it again” with a man.
