With Love Island set to return to our screens next month, former contestant AJ Bunker has spilled the beans on the racy audition process.
The 29-year-old hair extension technician from Hertfordshire appeared in last year's season which was watched by an average of 3.3million viewers.
AJ was briefly coupled up with teacher Hugo, but sadly the pair did not find lasting love on the ITV2 dating show.
Despite the set back, AJ has opened up about her experience in the villa and revealed exactly what the audition process entails and why all islanders wear sunglasses in the morning.
AJ said had previously been approached by producers five years ago but declined their interview offer as she was in a relationship at the time.

When they reached out again last year, she said she was keen to give it a go even though her spot on the show was not guaranteed.
A rigorous interview process followed with bosses asking her if she was "a sexual person", to rate her bedroom skills, about her sex life and dating tactics.
“They asked how I would catch a guy’s attention - I said I would approach him because in my eyes you’ve got to risk it for a chocolate biscuit,” she told The Sun.
“I think they chose me as a bombshell because I don’t mind chatting up a guy even if he was attached. They based it on my personality.”
She claims she was also asked if she would have sex on TV but AJ, who grew up Catholic, said she told them no as she didn't want to risk angering her priest or mother.
AJ also revealed that dumping episodes were filmed late at night as it doesn't get dark until late in the evening and Love Island stars are asked to refrain from eating on camera to prevent viewers from having to hear them chew.
Like other contestants, AJ confirmed islanders wore sunglasses early in the morning because they are woken up by a "massive bright light".
- Love Island's 2022 series will air on June 6 on ITV2
