Love Island's Adam Collard denies getting Paige's name as tattoo as she heads to Newcastle

Adam Collard has denied getting a tribute to Love Island girlfriend Paige Thorne as his latest tattoo, after she tried to convince fans that he'd decided to ger her name inked on him.

It's now been close to a month since Newcastle gym owner Adam and Welsh paramedic Paige left the Love Island villa in fifth place right before this year's final. And, while they might have had their doubters and were the subject of split speculation just days after returning home to the UK, the couple are still very much an item.

In an interview with Ranvir Singh on Lorraine earlier this month, Adam and Paige confirmed they were 'official,' and, as well as Adam, who runs Skulpt Fitness, heading down to Swansea to spend time with his new girlfriend and her family, Paige has been up to Tyneside, where she arrived for a second time on Wednesday.

After trying out the pancakes at city centre Instagram favourite The Dispensary Coffee House, Paige and Adam headed to see his favourite tattoo artist Soy, a resident tattooist at popular Durham parlour Skins and Needles. Paige took to Instagram to try and convince her growing number of followers that Adam had indeed decided to get her name somewhere on his body. Posting a video of Adam in the chair on her Instagram story, she wrote: 'As if he's getting my name.'

But Adam took to his own Instagram account to throw cold water on Paige's claims as she and him shopped in River Island after their tattoo studio visit. With his phone in selfie mode so Paige could be seen, Adam asked her: "Are you proud of yourself? As much as she begged, begged and begged 'us to get her name...there's only been three girls' names on 'us before, it's a cursed omen. So we've decided that's not the one."

Adam instead chose to get a tattoo on his shin, as well as having an existing one touched up.

Paige's first visit to Newcastle earlier in the month resulted in some drama as they were forced to leave city centre bar Market Shaker after being surrounded by other revellers and caught up in a scuffle.
