They're used to temperatures hotting up in the Love Island villa.
But fans of Ayr United were given the cold shoulder when tuning in to the latest episode from the sun.
Show narrator Iain Stirling is famous for his comedic put-downs and witty running commentary on islanders.
But tonight, he stunned United supporters by turning his acid tongue on the Honest Men during the ITV2 show's intro.
Stirling was introducing a segment on loved-up islanders and their efforts in a talent show task.
And the Hibs fan quipped: "The curtain has fallen on the Love Island Talent Show 2022 - without doubt the least amount of talent I've seen on display since I watched Ayr United playing away to Hearts."
The random dig quickly set Twitter alight, with fans of the Championship club unable to believe their ears.
User @klinder said: "Why’s Ayr United getting slated on Love Island? Back off."
And @FraserWason95 laughed: "Ayr United getting a mention on Love Island a minute into. World famous baby."
Poster @jemccurdie added: "@IainDoesJokes referencing Ayr United on Love Island. We're no that bad haha."
