Love Island Jay's family shares heartbreaking story behind his tattoo

While Love Islander Jay Younger has already been caught up in a lot of drama on the show, many fans have also been wondering about his bicep tattoo. Jay is currently coupled up with Ekin-Su Culculoglu after she secretly kissed him while she was coupled up with Davide Sanclimenti.

Jay's relatives are now managing his social media accounts while he is in the villa and have taken to TikTok to explain the meaning of the tattoo after many fans asked about it. The tattoo is actually in memory of Jay's best friend.

Posting to TikTok the family said: "In 2017, Jay's best friend, Danny, suddenly passed away." They also explained how the tattoo recognised Danny's Sri Lankan roots and finished the TikTok with: "Loved by many and will always be remembered RIP Danny Priyadharshan."
