Love Island host Maya Jama gives Kai a row live on the show after brutal Olivia dig

Love Island presenter Maya Jama had to tell off finalists Kai Fagan and Sanam Harrinanan after they both pulled a face while talking about fellow islander Olivia.

Maya called out Kai after he made the dig at his previous Love Island partner, Olivia Hawkins, after her name was mentioned during his and Sanam's final interview.

Before the pair were announced as the 2023 winners, viewers were shown teacher Kai and social worker Sanam's journey in the villa – and, of course, Kai's coupling with Olivia came up in conversation.

However, they couldn't contain their feelings when Olivia's name was mentioned by Maya as they both pulled awkward faces.

But Maya snapped back: "Don't do that face!"

Viewers at home also spotted the awkward moment and flocked to social media to talk about it.

One tweeted: "KAI’S FACE HES SICK OF HEARING THAT NAME HAHAHA #loveisland".

Another penned: "not maya saying to kai “don’t pull that face” when she said about Olivia," another noticed.

And a third wrote: "Kai's face when maya mentioned olivia #loveisland".

Another added: "“you were coupled up with olivia- kai don’t do that face” I LOVE THIS MAN #loveisland".

A short while after the final interviews, Maya revealed that Sanam and Kai had won the series, with Ron and Lana coming in second place, Tom and Samie in third and Tanya and Shaq in fourth place.

The final aired following the last elimination of the series on Sunday night, as Will and Jessie were dumped.

However before Will and Jessie were officially dumped, Maya appeared in an advert break for After Sun which saw them feature in a clip before viewers saw them get dumped - spoiling it for them.
