Love Island fans fear for Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu and Davide Sanclimenti after veiled a swipe at 'disrespect'.
The pair captured the heart of the nation with their 'will they won't they' arc on Love Island, going on to win the show, moving in together and then enjoying a plush holiday in the Maldives.
However it now looks like trouble could be brewing for the golden couple.
On April 3, Dancing on Ice star Ekin, 28, liked a tweet which read: "Distance is my new answer to disrespect. I no longer react, I no longer argue, I no longer dive into drama. I simply remove my presence."
On February 23, she also liked a post that said: "People be turning out to be exactly who they said they wasn’t."
Fans have also circulated a tweet from yesterday, which she deleted, which read: "No man will ever take you seriously with just half naked pictures of you in a bikini and lingerie #youarewhatyouproject #ladiestakenote."
Fans are no suspecting whether it could be the end for Davide, 27, and Ekin-Su, with one person saying: “Wait Are Davide and Ekin Still together?? Cause why are some of their fans crying on Twitter and Ekin liking indirect tweets about being disrespected and lies I'm confused.”
Ekin-Su's team responded no comment when contacted by the Mirror over fans' split fears.
The Mirror has approached Davide for comment.
In February, Davide dismissed rumours the pair were engaged after sharing a sweet picture of themselves embracing in front of the sunset.
He captioned their Maldives holiday post: "They told me that to make her fall in love; I had to make her laugh. But every time she laughs, I'm the one who falls in love."
Fans immediately thought it was a proposal post and rushed to the comment section to joke about it.
Dashing the hopes of fans, Davide said: "Even if we are so close, the reality is that we know each other for only six months so it would be nice to see at least a two-year relationship before you commit for life.
"This is what I always will delight with fans to understand, that even if everything is perfect, it seems a dream, you need to be realistic."
Davide added to Mail Online : "And before you get engaged for life, I think it would be wise to wait two years at least, you know, so you can discover more about the other person."
Meanwhile, Ekin has hinted that she is set to branch out into the world of acting, after reportedly losing two brand deals.
The Turkish soap star was inundated with work offers after winning Love Island, but she was later dropped by Oh Polly and, reportedly, Beauty Works.
Ekin told The Sun how she had meeting lined up in LA, and hoped to land a soap role in the UK too.
The star previously opened up to the Mirror in October about her acting plans.
She spilled at the time: "So my next move is acting. It's actually what I want to do, the main thing."
