Love Island viewers are convinced that Luca only likes Gemma because he knows that her father is Michael Owen.
Fans of the ITV2 show immediately took to Twitter as Ikenna revealed the boys knew about Gemma's famous dad just three days into the 2022 series.
During an appearance on Love Island : Aftersun alongside Amber, Ikenna spilled the beans and said they knew about the former footballer quite early on.
It all started when an Aftersun guest asked Ikenna: "You're a big football fan like me. What was it like getting a foot massage from Michael Owen's daughter?"
Ikenna replied: "Do you know what's mad? We didn't really know until like the second or third day, but I don't think the girls knew that the guys knew."
Viewers instantly put two and two together, and took to Twitter to comment.
"Now we see why Luca is attached to Gemma #LoveISland," one person posted, while another said: "I think we all knew why Luca all of a sudden when googoo gaga over Gemma."
A third person tweeted: "everyone knowing who gemma’s dad is after the 3rd day and luca getting really obsessive right after #LoveIsland."
A fourth viewer said: "So the guys found out who Gemma’s dad was three days in…around the same time Luca suddenly became interested in Gemma. Interesting #LoveIsland."
And another person claimed: "Luca realised he hit the jackpot with Gemma being Michael Owens daughter. #LoveIsland."
A different viewer added: "Not ikenna admitting all the lads knew who Gemma’s dad was from day 3, NO WONDER LUCAS SO OBSESSED #LoveIsland #Loveislandaftersun."
And one more Love Island fan added: "Lmao so luca knows Gemma is Micheal owens daughter? LMAO THE OBSESSION MAKES SENSES ! #loveisland."
The revelation comes after viewers thought Gemma had finally name-dropped her famous dad in the last few days.
Gemma finally brought her dad up in a segment that was shown on Love Island's Unseen Bits show on Saturday night, with the teenager doing an impression of Michael.
In the previously unseen clip, producers ask Gemma to do her "best impression" while she is sat alone for the Beach Hut Bonanza.
She started by contemplating: "Who can I do?”
Gemma then said: "There's no way I'm going to do my dad, but people always do the classic, 'If they don't score, they don't win.'”
She went on: "It's something like that. It's some bulls**t or whatever."
Love Island continues at 9pm on ITV2 and ITV Hub.
